The state of Idaho is changing the way they are doing business. They have stepped up to the new integrated statewide iCourt system. The system allows you to search for Idaho court records and make payments online. For many years, Idaho had a paper based system that did not allow for the efficiency of the new iCourt system. The electronic online judicial system allows for faster service to those who seek information about Idaho court records. Register for the ICourt system at mycourts.ida.gov. You will need to register on he system before doing a search for an Idaho court record. A username and password are required. The username will be your n email address and a custom made password that will help you get into the iCourt system to get a court record.

The Three Parts of The Idaho Court System

The Idaho Supreme court efficiently runs the District Courts and The Court of Appeals. The District courts are the lowest courts and where cases begin. When an appeal is filed, the defender goes to the appeals court. If more litigation is needed they go to the highest court in Idaho, which is the Idaho Supreme Court.

Access to Idaho Court Records

Most of the court records in Idaho are deemed public, which means that anyone can go on the iCourt system, register and then view the needed court records.
