The Tippecanoe County Courts are responsible for updating information for Tippecanoe County Court Records accessible through the statewide Odyssey court case portal. The portal can be accessed through the following link https://public.courts.in.gov/home/portal.

To search for court cases and documents on the portal you will need to click the link for search cases from the portal’s homepage. This will direct you to the case search page that allows you to locate Tippecanoe County Court records available to the public.

What Information is Needed to Search Court Records

To search for court records using the Odyssey case management system, you will need to provide the case number or the party or parties’ names involved in the court case. For some court cases, you may need to provide the date of birth as well. You can also search by the attorney’s name on the case, business name, and/or citation number. To help facilitate your search, you can click on advanced search options. This selection allows you to search for cases that are opened, closed, and/or both, and include a date range for when the case was filed.

*Note: The default court selection is all Odyssey courts in the state of Indiana. To narrow down your search results, use the dropdown menu to select the county that you believe the case was filed.

Accessing Case Documents

Case information is available for public access unless the case has been sealed, is a juvenile case, or has other restrictions on the case. The documents in the case are submitted by attorneys that are working on the case and/or by the court that is handling the case. Documents that are made available to the public will appear in the Odyssey Case Management Search portal.

If you are unable to access a document for a specific case you will need to speak to a Tippecanoe County Clerk for assistance.

Information Available for Public Access

The information available for public access include civil, traffic, and criminal court cases. This portal will provide you with the case number, charge(s) and disposition, case type and status, date filed, court location or the court that filed the case, summary of hearings and events, and parties involved in the case.

The courts are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The county clerk’s office is open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Tuesdays they are open from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
