Grayson County Court Records

Information regarding cases filed in Grayson County Judicial System can be accessed by using the online search portal. The information received from performing Grayson County Court Records searches is from all cases filed from all courts in Grayson County Texas. This information is filed on the online search portal after being reviewed by the clerk’s office.

Searching the Grayson County Online Search Portal

When you search for Grayson County Court Records you can perform the search by the case number, name of the party associated with the case, the citation number, and/or the attorney information on the case. You can perform a wild card search when using the name search feature. You will need to enter at least 3 letters of both the first and the last name followed by the asterisk symbol. If your search yields a large number of results, you have the option to refine your search by entering additional search criteria.

You can refine your search by providing information related to the date the case was filed, the date of birth of the defendant, and the case status. You can then sort your search results by file date, case number, case status, revised file date, and the defendant’s name.

You can look through the search results until you locate the case that you are looking for. Click on that case and you will access the Register of Actions page. The register of actions page will give you information such as the case number, the date the case was filed, where the case was filed, the judicial officer that is presiding over the case, the charge on the case the disposition, and sentencing that was received.

Additional information that you may locate when performing a Grayson County Court Records search include the following:

The information that is available through accessing the online search portal does not include any images for Grayson County Court Records. For felony court records you will need to contact the Grayson County District Clerk of the court. The type of cases that you will find when using the portal include:

Certified copies of court records can be obtained through the clerk of courts and cost $1.00 for each page and $5.00 to be certified. Fannin County Court Records

The Fannin County Courthouse is located off of Sam Rayburn Drive in Bonham, Texas. This courthouse is the State of Texas 336th Judicial Court. The County and District Clerk’s offices are responsible for maintaining the Fannin County Court Records for cases filed in the Fannin County Courthouse.

Retrieving Fannin County Court Records

Retrieving Fannin County Court records can be done in a number of different ways. You can contact the Clerk’s office during normal business hours, or you can use the Tyler Odyssey Portal https://portal-txfannin.tylertech.cloud/Portal/ to access online records.

How to Use the Search Portal

As of November 2020, public Fannin County Court records searches are conducted using the link for the Tyler Odyssey Portal. When you click on the link in the upper right-hand corner you will see a link to register or login into your account. An account is not necessary to perform a search on the portal.

Fannin County Court Records

You will also find links for court hearings and court records. The court hearings search will give you information for court hearings scheduled with all Fannin County Courts, within a specified date range. The Smart Search icon allows you to search for court records filed in one of the Fannin County Courts. This includes both civil and criminal court records.

You can perform a search by record number or by name. If you are unsure of the correct spelling for a name you can do a wild card search. This is done by entering (minimum) 3 letters and the asterisk symbol for the last name and 1 letter and the asterisk symbol for the first name.

You can enter advanced filtering options to narrow down your search results. The advanced filtering option allows you to enter specific criteria for the following:

  • General options- location, search type, and whether to include or exclude judgments, warrants, and cases.
  • Parties in case- party name or nickname, business name, phonetic search, booking number, state number, and/or FBI number.
  • Case search- Case type and/or status, judicial officer, and file start and/or file end dates.
  • Judgment- type and date range
  • Warrants- status, type, date range

Information Available Using the Portal

When you access a court record that you are searching for, you will have access to basic case information. This includes the following:

  • The case number, type, and status.
  • Parties Involved including names of attorneys and the judicial officer.
  • Charge (if any)
  • Disposition of the case, court events, and court hearings.

Denton County Court Records

If you need to access Denton County court records, you can do this online through a number of portals. Court records provide information regarding specific cases, images and documents related to the case, entries and notes from individuals involved in the case, and other case-related images. You can access information relating to official records or cases filed with the Justice of the Peace, District Court, and/or County Court office.

Online Access

You can access official records online through the Denton County public search portal. For civil, criminal, family, and probate cases with jail and bond information, you would need to use the Denton County Records Inquiry portal. Criminal history conviction and Denton County Court records for sex offenders can be found by accessing the State of Texas Public Safety Websearch portal.

Official Records Search

When searching official records for Denton County Court records, you have the option of doing a quick search by department, date range, document type, and/or document number. You can apply advanced search criteria and search by party name, book, volume, and page numbers, the date range for the date recorded and certified, or document image.

The official records search portal allows you to request copies of documents online or download and print documents online. There is a link on the site that gives you the option to receive alerts when your name or business name is used in the filing of real property in Denton County. This is a new fraud prevention service in the event that a real property filing is fraudulent.

Denton County Records Inquiry

The Denton County Records Inquiry portal allows you to search and view cases online. You can search by name of person or business, case number, defendant, citation, date filed, and/or attorney information. You can also do a phonetic search or partial name search when searching by name.

When you pull up a document there will be a notation if there is an active warrant for the case. You can sort the search results displayed by case number, date filed, status, and/or defendant name.

The information available through the odyssey court records inquiry includes the following:

  • Court events, actions, and hearings
  • Information relating to the parties involved in the case
  • Charges, disposition, and sentencing
  • Case type, location filed, judicial officer, date filed
  • Related case information
  • Financial summary

The system allows you to search all county and JP court cases, jail records, and court calendars.

Courthouse Access

Each department in the Denton County Courthouse has a records management division that manages the court records. If you need access to Denton County Court records or have questions, you can send an email to contact the courthouse or contact the courthouse by phone. The representatives are not permitted to provide legal advice regarding your case, they can only answer questions or provide information about accessing case files or if you don’t understand something in the court case files.

If you need to request records for a case, you can download the PDF Records Request form and fill it out. The form can be mailed, faxed, emailed, or dropped off at the courthouse.
