Kane County Court Records

Kane County Circuit Court is the 16th Judicial Circuit Court for the state of Illinois. The courthouse is located in St. Charles, Illinois. This court is responsible for maintaining and filing Kane County Court records for civil and criminal court records.

Kane County Court Records

You do not have to register or sign up for an account to access information available on the Kane County Court records search portal. You do not have to pay any money to search the portal. You can also email a request to Research@co.kane.il.us or fax a request to 630-208-2172. It is best to have the case number when submitting your request, otherwise, you will be charged both a research fee and a fee for making the copies.

Civil and Criminal Court Case Information

The online search portal does not contain copies of documents or images associated with each case. You will need to contact the courts if you need more information than what is available through the portal.

Aforementioned when searching for court records, you can apply advanced filter options to indicate whether you are searching for a civil or criminal case. After you locate the records that you are searching for click on the link to be redirected to the case information page. On the case information page, you will find the parties involved, the attorney(s) on the case, the judicial officer assigned to the case, the status of the case (open or closed), the court events and hearings that have occurred or that are scheduled, financial information regarding the case, and the charge and type case it is.

The main location is located on Randall Rd and the phone number is 630-232-3413. You can reach a clerk Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST).
