Accessing Court Records
If you need to access Collier County Court records, you can do so may visiting the online search portal using the following link https://cms.collierclerk.com/cmsweb#!/. This link will allow you to search for court records including case information and images, that are available to the public using internet access.
You can also access Collier County court records by contacting the Clerk of the Circuit Courts for assistance. Online access to court records is available to the public at no charge, however, if you have to go through the Clerk’s office you may have to pay a fee for copies of court records and documents.
Using the Online Search Portal
When you access the link for Showcase the online search portal you have the option to sign up as a registered user. If you are a registered user you would need to log into the portal to access information as a registered user. To access basic case information that is available to the public, you would need to click on the case search option located on the menu bar.
The case search option will let you search for court records by name, case number, citation number, and/or court type. When you search by name you have the option to search by full first and last name, or by using the sounds like or starts with wildcard features.
Once you have entered all of your search criteria for your inquiry click the submit button to access your search results. Your search results will show the following information:
- Case number
- Citation number
- Party name and/or company name
- Party type
- Date of birth
- Sex
- Race
- File date
- Court type
- Case type
- Status
Each column can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking the heading for the column that you wish to sort. This is helpful if your search results page returned a large number of court records. You need to scroll through the results until you locate the court records that you are looking for.
Once you have located the Collier County Court records that you are searching for, click on the link to pull up the case information page. The case information page will give you the case number, party information, status, file date, offense date, case type, citation number, dockets, charges, sentences, fees, and court events that are scheduled or that have already occurred.
