Nueces County Court Records

Most county courts in Texas such as Nueces County, allow the public to view and access information regarding court cases through electronic records. These electronic records can be viewed in the courthouse or by accessing the court records website from a remote location.

Using Nueces County Court Records Website

To use the Nueces County Court records search website, you will need to access the following link: https://portal-txnueces.tylertech.cloud/PublicAccess/default.aspx. This site allows you to search for court records in all courts for civil and criminal court cases. When you access the link you will see a dropdown menu list to select all courts and you will need to click on the link for the type of court case records that you are looking for. You will then fill in the search information based on the method that you are searching, such as name, case number, citation number, or attorney information to access the Nueces County Court records.

Accessing Court Records

When you have entered the query information you can narrow your search by entering a date of birth, selecting all, closed, or open cases, entering a date filed range, and/or case type(s). You have the option to further filter your search results to make locating the file easier.

Once you have entered in the information for your search click submit and you will see your search results page. Scroll through the search results page until you have found the case that you are looking for.

Information Accessible Online

The type of information that you will find online depends on the type of case record that you are searching for. For most cases, you will be able to view the following information:

  • Parties involved in the case- both the defendant and plaintiff.
  • The names of the attorneys
  • The type of case it is. For example, in criminal records, you can see whether it is a felony or a misdemeanor.
  • The date the case was filed.
  • The case number and which court the case was filed.
  • Court events, hearings, and other types of scheduled events.
  • The outcome or disposition of the case and the status of the case.
  • Any financial transactions paid on the case for court fees and other costs.

In-Person Record Retrieval

If you don’t have access to the internet or have trouble accessing the Nueces County Court records search link, you can go in-person to the Nueces County Courthouse to submit a records request.
