Pasco County Court Records

Accessing Pasco County Court records can be done in-person or online through the county court’s website. You can request paper files of court records or order certified copies of Pasco County Court Records.

Through the Pasco County, Florida Judicial system, you can access the Legal Resource Center. The Legal Resource Center offers self-help services made available to the public for viewing, retrieving, and filing court records.

Online Court Records

The Pasco County Clerk and Comptroller office provide online access to various Pasco County court records to the public. You can search official, civil, criminal, traffic, and mental health cases using the online court records search.

The Pasco County online court records system will allow you to view child support, criminal, and traffic cases to make electronic payments towards monetary obligations owed on these cases. You also have the option of electronically filing court documents through the online court records system. This is a feature that has been available since 2014.

Performing Online Court Record Search

If you wish to perform an online search for Pasco County Court Records, you will need to view and agree to the disclaimer. Once you have agreed to the terms you will then be given access to the electronic court records.

You can perform searches for court records 24 hours a day 7 days a week unless maintenance is being performed on the site. You can search through court records by name, case numbers, and date ranges.

When performing a case search, you will need to enter the year the case was filed, the type of court case it is, and the case number sequence. If you don’t have this information it will be easier to perform a name search. The name search allows you to search by an individuals’ first and last name or by a business name. You can add additional filters to narrow down your search results.

What Can be Viewed

The type of information that can be viewed through the OCRS varies depending on the type of court case that you are viewing. Examples of the type of information that can be viewed include the following:

  • Case number
  • The sequence and description of charges on the case
  • The party names associated with the case
  • The attorney for the individuals listed on the case
  • Images and actions related to the case
  • Court events that are scheduled and that have already taken place.
  • Sentencing and disposition information.
  • Financial obligations and any payments made towards the money due on the case, if applicable.

You have the option to view court records on certain topics. These topics include the following:

  • High profile cases
  • Mental health case search
  • Wills on deposit search by name
  • Animal abuser search
  • case/section/division search
  • Orders sealing noncriminal court records

Searching through official court records provides public information, relating to deeds, dismissals, judgments, liens, and other types of documents.

Accessing Court Records In-person

If you prefer to view paper files of Pasco County court records, you can do so by visiting the Clerk & Comptroller’s office in Dade City or New Port Richey. If you have access to the case numbers, you can call and request the records ahead of time. Otherwise, you will need to visit one of the offices between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The busiest times for the record centers are between 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. snd 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

The Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller office recommends visiting the office during nonbusy times.
