Williamson County Court Records

The Williamson County Justice Center is located in Georgetown, Texas, and provides a number of services to the residents of Williamson County. County and District court cases filed in Williamson County have court hearings here.

How to Look Up Williamson County Court Records

In accordance with the Texas statewide mandate to e-file all civil and criminal case files and documents, all Williamson County Court records and documents are available electronically. Record search inquiries can be performed by following this link https://judicialrecords.wilco.org/PublicAccess/default.aspx. By following the link, you are able to search for judicial records, dockets, jail records, civil and criminal court calendars, and bond records.

Using the Records Search Inquiry Portal

You can use the records search portal to find Williamson County Court records by searching all courts at once or selecting an individual court. After making your selection, you will need to select the type of court records that you are looking for. This includes family, civil, criminal, and jail dockets, calendars, and cases.

Williamson County Court Records

The criminal case records search screen allows you to search for records by name, date filed, case number, attorney, citation number, and business name. You can choose to search through all cases regardless of being opened or closed, or you can select one or the other. You can also enter a date range for the date the case was filed for optimal search results. If your primary search inquiry is broad, you can sort your search results page according to either name, case number, status, date filed, and/or the date the file was received to help you conveniently locate the Williamson County Court records that you are looking for. If you are searching through jail records, you can search by name or booking number.

Once you have found the case that you are looking for, click on the link to be redirected to the Register of Actions court case information page. For court cases where an individual has a warrant, an icon will be displayed next to their name on the search results page. The Register of Actions page will provide you with more information regarding the warrant, such as when it was issued, when and if a warrant card was sent out, what the warrant is for, and other actions or events relating to the warrant.

The information that you will find on the Register of Actions page includes defendant information, the case number, events and court hearings involving the case, attorneys for the case, the location the case was filed, the type of case, status and disposition of the case, and date case was filed. Some court cases will provide the defendant’s mugshot when you click on their name on the Register of Actions page.

When to Contact the Courts

If you need certified Williamson County Court records or you are looking for images or information not available online you will need to contact the courts. The Clerk of Courts will be able to help you with requesting the information that you are looking for.
